  ABOUT ME

MY STORY

I am a lampwork glass artist living in Boise, Idaho with my husband and our two Dalmatians, Shelby and Kia.   I started flameworking November 2005, all because I love unusual beads and when I discovered the existence of handmade glass beads earlier that year, I was immediately and forever hooked! My favorite aspect of bead making is putting together wonderful color combinations. I have always loved creating color combinations whether for jewlery, outfits to wear or in decorating my home so this is just a natural transition for me. I absolutely love making my beads and I sure hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I have taken classes from Ann Ricketts, Andrea Guarino, Stacy Frost, Kendra Bruno, Lisa St. Martin and Will Peterson in both glass bead making and wire working/jewelry making. I love learning so intend to keep taking classes in both torch and bench work.

MY STUDIO
This is my flameworking station in my home studio.  There are two oxygen concentrators and a natural gas line just out of the picture to the right. I didn't want to have to worry about propane or oxygen tanks and find this method so convenient! There are lots of presses on the table to the left and of course I have lots of glass to play with. Most of that glass is from Italy.
